Manchester Athletic Networks Quadkids 2011

Today saw the first ever Quadkids competition for both Manchester Athletic Networks (M60 network & Manchester network). The networks came together at Salford Met AC in Eccles to compete in the under 9 and under 11 age groups.

It was a fantastic day and we even saw a little sunshine!

Congratulations to Manchester Harriers and Sale Harriers for finishing 1st in the U11 and U9 age groups respectively. A big well done to the individual winners also, in U9 Grace Goodsell of Bury AC and Malikai of Manchester Harriers. In U11 the winners were Megan Taylor of Manchester Harriers and Declan Guy of Bury AC.

Also, well done to all the athletes who gave 100% effort and made the event very competitive!

Thank you to all clubs, parents, team managers and volunteers for making the day possible! The children would not have had such a great day without you all!

We hope to see you all again next year and make the event even bigger!
